Obama’s ‘downfall’ is that he is black, thats all it boils down to. what is furthermore sad for me is that all of the hope we all had, black, white, and other, that wow, maybe we (Americans) really have moved on, maybe we can do this, maybe Obama really can win this, maybe we really arent as racist as we had been…all that is flushing down the toilet. thats what makes me sad. they could find no dirt on Obama, and so they equate him with reverend Wright, don’t even bother to assess the trith of Wrights statements, and damn him. also, Obama was in a catch 22. denounce Rev Wright to make those uncomfortable Whites happy, however, knowig that once you do, they still wont accept you anyway [ie,...why didnt he abandon hi 20 years ago...]
