I much appreciated reading Susan Abulhawa's insightful and engaging op-ed piece. The Washington Times should publish more such articles to educate and inform its readers.

I have often wondered why the leaders of our country, contrary to the majority sentiment of the general public, remain so docile and subservient to Israel and its ghoulish selfish interests. We can only begin to understand this unAmerican and harmful process by acknowledging the terrifying stranglehold Israel's partisans (including the Armageddon death-cult of Zionist-Christians) have on our castrated leadership.

Barack Obama is no different. In addition to picking that discredited motormouth Joe Biden as his running-mate, he has shamelessly banished his once-principled stand on the Palestinian issue.
