REFUSING to acknowledge the connections between details of this incident and the tenets of their legal, religious and family law traditions is taking political correctness to the level of outright insanity. Passing it off as extreme domestic violence is comparable to likening the Taliban to Islamic boy scouts. The so-called champions of women's rights hide behind domestic violence, seeking an approach which would spread the blame throughout the culture. Sorry. Not buying it. Arab women are abused, oppressed, raped and killed in far higher numbers and with much greater frequency than anything seen in the West, and to deny this is to stick our collective heads in the sand and renounce any claim to civilized rationalism.

[...] This can no longer be seen as few isolated incidents or simply brushed over as domestic violence. Honor killings are becoming nothing new in America and is certainly the case in Western countries where Islamification is running a strong course through their respective societies. That can not and must not happen here in the U.S. Out rage and uncomfortableness should be the reaction. These are horrible, gruesome, and very un-American acts of violence. To view this as just another case of random violent acts against women is wrong and dangerous. We should demand accountability from American Muslims and their so-called leaders to conform to our American views and norms. If they do not want to be viewed with suspicion and uneasiness, that effort would go along ways in helping out. This is after all, America. Before any react negatively or with hostility to any of that, perhaps you should consider that many American Muslims — good Americans, decent neighbors, and productive citizens are doing just that. [...]
